Having a safe place to call home has long lasting impacts on every community. It allows people to seek steady employment, access to further education, and simply sleep soundly at night. Homeownership opens up so many new opportunities for everyone to better their lives and of those around them.

​​Jes is working hard to help build her family’s home and create a future where her family can transition out of survival mode and can focus on thriving. They can build a bigger future once they purchase their new safe, affordable home. ​During partnership with Habitat, Program Partners will complete homebuyer education, budgeting and finance classes, along with completing sweat equity hours to learn necessary skills to maintain their new home.

We offer a variety of unique partnership avenues to give the citizens of Cheboygan County a hand up, not a hand out.
