Every family deserves a home base
Like many communities across the country, Cheboygan County is in an affordable housing crisis. Thousands of local families are living in overcrowded, unsafe, or unaffordable housing. Cheboygan County Habitat for Humanity works with families of all sizes, colors, ages, and backgrounds to help every family build a safe and healthy home base to pursue their dreams.
Building our future
Communities are strong when everyone has access to safe, affordable housing. Unaffordable or inadequate housing is often the largest obstacle on the path to an individual or family's success. When individuals and families in our communities thrive, we all thrive. Through shelter, we provide strength, stability and self-reliance.

Offering a hand up
When Program Partners partner with Cheboygan Habitat, not only do they build a new home or repair their own home, they develop the skills they need to become successful homeowners and maintain their home for the long haul. Our housing programs offer Program Partners a hand up, not a hand out through the concept of partnership housing.
