The Habitat ReStore is located at 9385 N Straits Hwy. The ReStore sells used and surplus building materials and many other items to help fund the building of homes.

The Store Hours are:

Mon-Fri: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Saturday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

2009 Habitat Build Season - Volunteers Needed

We have plans to build two Habitat homes during 2009. One home will begin in late April for Garett & Kayla Balitz and their children. This home will be built on LaLonde Stree behind Creekside Motel. The second home will begin in August for Kaye Cook and her children. Kaye’s home will be built on Maynard Road, just west of Inverness Trail. If you can lend a helping hand toward buidlling these home, please call Beverly King at the Habitat office by dialing 231-597-4663.

Habitat Cookbooks now on sale

Spring is around the corner and soon you will be planting your gardens. We have just what you need, our famous Habitat for Humanity Cookbooks. There are over 600 recipes that are made with ingredients that you have in your own kitchen. These recipes have been prepared by our local community members and are delicious. The cookbooks cost $12.00 each. Just call the Habitat office by dialing 597-4663 to place your order or you can purchase one at the Habitat ReStore located at 9385 N. Straits Hwy.

Cookbooks for Sale!

Help someone get a new home and get some great recipes in the process with the Cheboygan Habitat cookbooks. For only $12, you can have over 600 (yes, 600) recipes from some of Cheboygan County's best cooks. Proceeds from the sale will go to helping a family own their a home of their own. Cookbooks are available at the ReStore and at most local churches.
